Nigeria appointed member UN CSTD working group

The Chairman of the United Nation , UN, Commission on Science and Technology for Development (CSTD), Mr. Peter Major has appointed Dr Jimson Olufuye, Chair Africa ICT Alliance, AfICTA, as a member of the CSTD Working Group on Enhanced Cooperation. 

Mayor who announced his decision regarding composition of the working group on enhanced cooperation said that this was pursuant to UN GA resolution which requests the Chair of the Commission on Science and Technology for Development through the Economic and Social Council, to establish a working group to develop recommendations on how to further implement enhanced cooperation and on the basis of the notes dated the 26 January 2016 and 3 March 2016 respectively and the consultations undertaken in this context.
