Dickson at Makarfi’s home, says all PDP Govs are behind him

Governor Henry Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State, Saturday, visited Senator Ahmed Makarfi, Chairman, Caretaker Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, at his Kaduna home and announced that all the PDP Governors stand by him.

Makarfi, who appreciated the visit said that the PDP was only on sabbatical in Kaduna State and at the National level, saying that all that party members needed do was forgive each other and forge on.

Said Dickson: “I am here to consult with our Nation Chairman who is one of our respected leaders of party and of our country. I am here to consult with him on the way forward for our country.

“I want to use this opportunity to congratulate him on his emergence as the national chairman of the Caretaker Committee – a job that he didn’t seek for. I want to thank him for taking the gauntlet.

“I want to thank him for being a good party leader as he has always been, for being the agent for the rebirth of our party in this very trying time.
